    Frontenac Heritage Hall Museum

     

    The Frontenac Heritage Hall Is an innovative structure containing the museum, the public library, and a coffee shop.


    The MHAers enter the Miners Park in Frontenac, Kansas.

     (Above) Seth Nutt, welcomes the MHAers to the memorial and Heritage Hall Museum.

     

    (Right) A closeup of the memorial dedicated to the miners who perished in the 1888 Frontenac Mine Disaster. Click Here for a list of their names from a display in the museum.


    (Above, Right, and Below) These exhibits mainly focus on the Amazon Army composed of women who supported the striking coal miners, their husbands and sons.

     

     


     

     

    This exhibit shows photos and artifacts of the miners’ work and homelife.
